Shankar Pathmakanthan

Shankar Pathmakanthan has a diverse work experience. Shankar currently serves as an Ambassador at the Young Insurance Professionals of Toronto, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Zensurance, where they held the position of New Business Manager, beginning in 2021. Shankar also served as a New Business Associate and Commercial Insurance Broker at the same company from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, Shankar worked at Vitamix Canada as the Lead Sales Demonstrator. Before that, they were a Sales Consultant at Staples from 2013 to 2018. Shankar also worked as a Private Tutor at Tutor Doctor from 2016 to 2018.

Shankar Pathmakanthan has a diverse education history. Shankar first pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2017. Following this, Shankar went on to acquire a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Business between 2023 and 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Shankar has obtained two notable certifications. In November 2021, they completed the "Healthcare Analytics: AI, Big Data & Digital Transformation" course offered by the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Furthermore, Shankar has also obtained the RIBO Level 1 certification from the Insurance Institute of Canada, although the exact date of completion is not provided.
