Babak Hashemi

Babak Hashemi is a skilled backend engineer with extensive experience in software development, having worked at Zentek Gruppe since November 2020. Previously, Babak served as a software developer at cimt ag from November 2017 to November 2020 and conducted research as a master thesis student at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research from October 2016 to October 2017. This project focused on implementing software to extract features of leaf shapes for further analysis. Babak's earlier experience includes working as a web developer for the GESIS - Leibniz-Institut für Sozialwissenschaften on the OSCOSS project, which aimed to facilitate scientific writing, as well as an AI research intern at ShopCo, an innovative online shopping startup. Babak also contributed as a student research assistant at GESIS, where data crawling, cleaning, and visualization were key responsibilities.
