Mike Brownleader

Mike Brownleader's work experience begins as a PhD student at the University of Hertfordshire, SmithKline Beecham & Rothamsted Experimental Station from 1988 to 1991. Mike then went on to work as an Application Manager at Sartorius Stedim Biotech in 2000. From 2001 to 2014, Mike was the Owner of Generon Ltd, a distributor of life sciences and diagnostic consumables. During this time, they also provided custom antibody, recombinant protein expression, and peptide synthesis services. In 2014, Mike founded and directed BioServUK Ltd, a manufacturer and CRO/CMO offering various services in the drug discovery research market. In 2017, they became a Co-Founder of Zentraxa, specializing in the design and production of complex novel peptides. In 2018, Mike became the Chief Revenue Officer at Calibre Scientific, Inc., where they also served as the Director of European Operations and Sales for BioservUK, Protein Ark, and Open Explorer until 2020. Additionally, Mike has served as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London since 2008.
