Sue Cheung, Ph.D.

Sue Cheung, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience in the fields of finance and technology. In 2001, they began their career as the Chief Financial Officer of Fortrend Engineering Corporation, a leading innovator of Class 1 cleanroom automation for the semiconductor industry. In 2003, they began working as a Practitioner Instructor of Online DBA Degree Program at the University of Phoenix. In 2005, they joined Verifone as Senior Manager, Accounting & International Consolidation. In 2006, they were hired by SonicWall as Sr. Director, M&A, SEC Reporting and International Consolidation. In 2007, they were appointed Chief Financial Officer of QuickLogic Corporation (NASDAQ: QUIK). In 2015, they became a Member Board of Directors of QUICKLOGIC SOFTWARE (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Financial Officer at Morrone Bio (Nasdaq: MBII) of Bioceres Crop Solutions (NASDAQ: BIOX) and Member Board Of Directors of Pro Farm Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Marrone Bio Innovations (NASDAQ: MBII). In 2022, they joined Zenysis Technologies as Chief Financial Officer. In 2020, they were appointed Member Board of Directors and Founding Partner of Reaction, a mission-driven venture fund founded by a diverse community of global leaders.

Sue Cheung, Ph.D. has a long and impressive educational history. Sue obtained their Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida International University - College of Business in 1994. Prior to that, they obtained their Master in Accounting from the same institution. In 2019, they completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a Certificate of Completion in Leading With Emotional Intelligence from the American Management Association, obtained in 2010; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Inactive from AICPA, obtained in 1996; and a NACD Directorship Certification\u00ae from NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors), obtained in 2022.
