Stefan K. Obenland

Stefan K. Obenland, CPSM, CPM has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Stefan K. started their career as a Field Service Representative at BlueLinx Corporation in 2003, and then moved on to become an Assistant Buyer at Universal Forest Products in 2005. Stefan K. later worked at Ciner Resources as a Purchasing Agent and Supply Chain Manager, focusing on negotiating and managing large annual spends to drive profits through strategic sourcing. Stefan then joined Sierra Wireless, where they held roles as a Purchasing Manager and Senior Planning Manager, overseeing procurement and inventory management processes. Prior to their current role as Sr. Director of Procurement at Zep Inc., they served as a Senior Sourcing Manager at DiversiTech Corporation, leading sourcing strategies and continuous negotiation efforts for cost reductions and organizational value. Throughout their career, Stefan has demonstrated strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills in optimizing procurement processes.

Stefan K. Obenland, CPSM, CPM obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Marketing and Management from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. Additionally, Stefan obtained the Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification in 2012 and the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification in 2009 from the Institute for Supply Management.
