Jason Cerundolo has held a variety of engineering positions over the past decade. In 2007, they were an intern at Ecliptic Enterprises, where they developed a custom platform to collect video from three cameras, including from a prototype satellite. In 2008, they returned to Synaptics as an intern. Then, from 2010 to 2015, they worked at Synaptics as a Senior Hardware Engineer and Hardware Engineer, where they maintained an inventory of 163+ hardware tools and developed new digital, analog, and mixed signal designs from schematic to PCB layout. In 2015, they joined castAR by Technical Illusions as a Hardware Engineer, helping the company grow from a scrappy startup to almost 100 employees. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Capella Space and Lyft. Finally, in 2020, they became a Principal Electrical Engineer at Loft Orbital and in 2021 they became the CEO/Co-Founder of Zephyr Computing Systems.
Jason Cerundolo attended Caltech from 2005 to 2009 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Jason then attended Northwestern University from 2009 to 2010 and obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
