Okan Çakmak

Okan Çakmak is a skilled software engineer currently working at Zeplin since August 2021, where contributions include developing features for a high-traffic design delivery platform and addressing performance bottlenecks through redesigning data schemas and implementing distributed storage solutions. As a freelance software engineer for Toptal since December 2020, Okan's expertise is further complemented by prior experience as a software architect at Siemens, where a management and monitoring application for a 5G infrastructure project and a real-time dashboard were successfully developed. Okan's career began at Vodafone Turkey as a provisioning specialist, focusing on mission-critical systems and IT operations, alongside participation in supporting Vodafone TR's IT infrastructure during the Discover Young Talent program. Okan holds a degree from Istanbul Technical University, earned from 2009 to 2014, and graduated from Zonguldak Fen Lisesi in 2009.
