Mayank Agarwal

Mayank Agarwal is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in backend engineering and technical architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at Zepto since November 2022, Mayank leads all backend engineering functions and has also contributed to the customer experience division by spearheading various aspects such as shopping experience, payments, search, browse, and DevOps. Previous roles include Engineering Lead at Navi and Technical Lead at Gojek Tech, as well as a Software Engineer focusing on the Search and Discovery platform at Swiggy, where significant contributions were made to build a collections platform for food discovery. As a Co-Founder of Bottr.me, Mayank developed a digital avatar system utilizing knowledge graphs and machine learning techniques. Prior experience at Microsoft included a Software Development Engineer role within the Office Division, concentrating on telemetry and performance tools. Mayank holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur.
