Shourya Roy

Shourya Roy is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Zepto and a member of the Executive Council for ACM India. With extensive experience obtained from their role as Senior Research Director at Flipkart, where Shourya led a large Data Science organization across multiple sectors, and previous positions including Vice President and Head of AI Labs at American Express, Shourya has demonstrated expertise in machine learning, cloud technologies, and innovative research applications. Earlier roles at Xerox and IBM Research involved leadership in various cutting-edge projects, including conversational AI and analytics platforms, along with academic collaborations. Shourya holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Science and various degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, emphasizing a strong foundation in both technology and management.
