Terry Butler has over 20 years of experience in the information technology and cybersecurity fields. Terry began their career in 2001 as a Captain with the US Army, where they directed over 30 personnel and managed IT programs, projects, and installations worth over $15M. In 2004, they became an Information Assurance Manager with the Department of the US Army. In 2006, they held the role of Operations Deputy with the US Army. In 2007, they joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, Senior IA Engineer. In 2009, they moved to ManTech as a Program Manager and Project Manager, where they managed the IA Branch and coordinated multiple projects and tasks worth more than $7.5M. In 2012, they became the Director of Program Management at Integrated Communication Solutions, a small business providing Cyber Security, Information Technology, Program Management, and Enterprise Management Services. In 2013, they took on the role of VP, Program Operations & Development at Integrated Communication Solutions (ICS), where they provided day to day leadership and management of accounts, programs, personnel, and opportunities. In 2014, they became the CEO of Zermount, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing government and commercial clients with professional and consulting services in the areas of Cybersecurity, Enterprise information technology (IT), and Management Consulting.

Terry Butler completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University in 2000. Prior to that, they attended Bishop Guilfoyle High School from 1992 to 1996.
