Erik Sauar

Erik Sauar is a prominent leader in the renewable energy and environmental sectors, currently serving as CEO of Cenate AS since August 2017 and Chairman & Partner at Differ Group since January 2012, focusing on seed investments and project development in renewables and energy efficiency. Additionally, Erik holds significant roles including Chair of the Board of Directors for Miljøstiftelsen ZERO, an independent environmental organization dedicated to combating climate change, and Board Director at Umoe Gruppen AS. With a background as the first external investor in Ocean Sun and extensive board experience across various organizations, Erik's expertise is rooted in a strong educational foundation, including a Dr. techn. in Non-equilibrium thermodynamics from NTNU and a Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from NTH.
