Doug Turner

Doug Turner has over three decades of experience in the engineering and business sectors, having held multiple leadership positions at Control Southern since August 1990, including President and CEO, Vice President and GM, Sales Manager, Industry Director, Account Manager, and Application Engineer. Additionally, Doug served on the Executive Board of Strategic Growth Partners Inc from February 2015 to February 2020, where Doug acted as Chairman from 2019 to 2020. Prior experience includes a role as an Industrial/Commercial Engineer and Distribution Engineering Co-op at Georgia Power Company from June 1984 to August 1990. Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where education spanned from 1983 to 1988, and participated in the Georgia Governors Honor Program in 1982. Doug is also an Eagle Scout, having been involved with Troop 477 in Dunwoody, GA, from 1976 to 1983.
