Andreas Olofsson

Andreas Olofsson has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, having worked in various roles for companies such as Analog Devices, Adapteva, and Texas Instruments. Andreas founded Adapteva in 2008, where they designed massively parallel DSPs and shipped products to over 10,000 customers. Andreas also worked as a Program Manager for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from 2017 to 2020, managing a portfolio of US microelectronics research programs focused on chip design and automation. Currently, they are the CEO of Zero ASIC, a company they joined in 2020. In addition, they are a board member of the Open-Source FPGA Foundation, and they founded the Israel Chapter of Solid States Circuits Society for IEEE in 2004. Throughout their career, Andreas Olofsson has demonstrated expertise in areas such as hardware design, circuit design, and power-efficient computing.

Andreas Olofsson completed their high school education in Greenwich High School from 1988 to 1992. Andreas then pursued their Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1996. Andreas completed their Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
