João Rodrigues

João Rodrigues is a Performance Engineer at Zero® since March 2023, with a strong background in structural dynamics and multibody systems engineering. Previously, João contributed to McLaren Racing from March 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included developing multibody simulation capabilities, making design improvement recommendations based on dynamic simulations, and serving as the contact for vibration and structural dynamics. Prior to that, João worked at Jaguar Land Rover from November 2016 to March 2019, focusing on enhancing the multibody systems database and developing new simulation scenarios. Early experience includes roles as an Electronics and Vehicle Integration Team Member for Formula Student and as a Junior Engineer for the BAMP-Dakar Project. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Motorsport Engineering from Oxford Brookes University, a Post-Graduate degree in Automotive Engineering from the Polytechnic of Leiria, a BSc in Electromechanical Engineering from ISEC, and a Professional Course in Automotive Mechatronics from ESAB, Portugal.
