Yoni Nijs has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Yoni is currently working as the CTO and co-founder of Zero Friction, where they are responsible for designing and developing their future-proof SaaS platform. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Solution Architect and Enterprise Architect at Aertssen Group. Before that, they were a Managing Partner and Technical Solution Architect at Quax Consulting BVBA. Yoni also worked at Ferranti Computer Systems, where they held various roles including Technical Solution Architect/Innovation Lead and Dynamics AX Performance Assessor. Yoni has experience in conducting on-site quality audits and providing expert consultation for MECOMS™ projects. In addition to their professional experience, Yoni has also volunteered as a .NET developer and senior ICT teacher.

Yoni Nijs completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hogeschool Antwerpen, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 2007 to 2009, although the degree name and field of study are not provided. Their secondary school education was completed at Sint-Anna College from 2001 to 2007, where they studied Boekhouden-Informatica. In addition to their formal education, Yoni has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Yoni received certifications in MECOMS Advanced meter data management - functional, MECOMS Advanced pricing and quotation - functional, and MECOMS SureStep Solution from Ferranti Computer Systems. Yoni also obtained a certification in Mecoms Business Consultant from Ferranti Computer Systems. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in MBSS: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Development Introduction and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft. Finally, Yoni received a certification in Mecoms Product Development from Ferranti Computer Systems, and they were awarded the "Beste bachelor proef" from Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen.
