Esther Putman

Esther Putman is a Medical Engineer II at SpaceX, with extensive experience in aerospace and medical engineering. Currently serving as a Parabolic Flight Coach at Zero-G, Esther consults on operational procedures to improve the onboard experience and reduce motion sickness during parabolic flights. Academic work includes developing a virtual reality astronaut training platform and a doctoral dissertation focused on human trust in autonomous systems. Esther has held various roles including Space Medical Research Associate Engineer at SpaceX, Student Board President for the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research, and intern positions at NASA and Space Tango, contributing to significant research in space science and engineering. Esther holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and multiple degrees in related fields from both the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Kentucky.
