Shahar Lupu has a varied work experience, beginning in 2005 as a C# Programmer at MyThings, where they integrated with auction houses and Amazon via Asp.Net. In 2007, they worked as an ASP.Net Programmer at MyThings, developing Facebook applications. From 2009 to 2015, they worked for the Israeli Air Force as a Real-Time Systems Engineer, Real-Time Team Leader, and Real-Time Programmer, respectively. In their roles, they were responsible for functional requirements definition, in-depth software design, leading a team of 3-4 programmers, performing code and requirements review, and working with a unique operating system and programming language - JOVIAL. Since 2015, Shahar has been a Software Developer at INFINIDAT, where they have been working in a team on an enterprise-level Network Attached Storage (NAS) solution, with reliability and availability in mind. Shahar has implemented client and server side protocols, using EPOLL-based async I/O, and developed, unit tested, and maintained high-performance, multithreaded, modern C++ code over Boost Fibers and Boost Coroutines. Shahar is currently a Software Engineer at Zero Networks.

Shahar Lupu attended Kiryat Haim High School from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Advanced Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Machine Control. Shahar then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2009.
