Senior Python Developer at ZERØ

Alexey Vodopyan began their career in 2017 as a Production Operator at RN-Vankor, where they worked for a year. In 2018, they held the same role at RN-Vankor and also held a role as a Web Administrator at the Russian National Committee of the World Petroleum Council and an Engineer at Gubkin University. In 2019, they worked as an Engineer at Alta Engineering and an Intern in WRFM at Salym Petroleum Development. In the same year, they also held a role as an Engineer at Gazpromneft- NTC, where they developed an algorithm for integrated modelling of pipeline networks with wells and a program based on this algorithm using numpy, scipy. In 2020, they became the Head of Modelling Software Development Department at Gazpromneft Digital Solutions, where they developed several backend services, different calculation microservices, and a package for fluid flow calculation. Currently, they are a Python Engineer at ZERO Systems.

Alexey Vodopyan obtained a Bachelor degree in Reservoir engineering from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) between 2014 and 2018. Alexey then went on to obtain a Master degree in Reservoir engineering from the same university between 2018 and 2020. In November 2022, they obtained the Getting Started with the AWS Cloud Essentials certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
