Raena Akin-Deko

Raena Akin-Deko is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health management, strategy consulting, and product development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Impact at ZERO TO THREE and as Founder & CEO of Verve Strategy, Inc., Raena combines mindset coaching with strategy to empower women entrepreneurs. Previous roles include Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Altarum, where strategic solutions for at-risk populations were developed, and a long tenure at NCQA as Assistant Vice President for Product Strategy & Development, overseeing a significant product portfolio. Raena's background also includes leadership positions at ACHP, Priority Health, Health Alliance Plan, and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Raena holds a Master of Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology-Zoology from the University of Michigan, as well as additional public health credentials from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
