Ilya Zakharkin

Ilya Zakharkin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple years. Ilya currently holds the position of Senior ML/CV Engineer at ZERO10, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Samsung Electronics as a Research Engineer from October 2020 to April 2022, and as an Assistant Engineer from June 2020 to October 2020. In 2020, they co-founded Jesture AI and served as the CTO until July 2021. Ilya also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) from March 2020 to July 2020, where they contributed to the development of the Deep Learning part of the MIPT Statistics Machine Learning course. Before that, they worked at Deep Learning School as a Course Developer from August 2019 to May 2020 and as the Head of Course Development from October 2017 to August 2019. Additionally, they have experience as a Computer Vision Engineer at Mirror AI Inc from November 2019 to February 2020, where they collaborated on farms automation using computer vision technology. In 2018, they worked as a Project Manager (Deep Learning) at the Educational Scientific Center Sirius, where they managed the "Neural Style Transfer" project and taught deep learning and CNNs to schoolchildren. In 2017, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer, undertaking various software development projects, including a social survey retrieval system using OpenCV.

Ilya Zakharkin began their education in 2015 at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT), where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. Ilya completed their undergraduate studies in 2019.

In 2019, Ilya enrolled in the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology to pursue a Master's degree in Data Science. Ilya completed their postgraduate studies in 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Ilya also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received a Coursera Course Certificates for "Neural Networks and Deep Learning." In the same year, they also completed the Coursera Course Certificates for "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization." In 2018, Ilya obtained Coursera Course Certificates for "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and a specialization in "Machine Learning and Data Analysis." In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Unity 101 - Game Development and C# Foundations" from Zenva.
