John King

John King has extensive experience in finance and analysis. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Financial Analyst - Team Leader at Pershing. In this role, they managed the commission control and payment process, resolving issues and preparing profit reports. From 2011 to 2015, they served as Vice President - Commercial Strategy and Pricing at Pershing, where they led commercial planning and pricing strategy for the wealth and institutional business. John also worked as an Assistant Vice President, handling treasury placement options and compliance with FCA CASS rules. At BNY Mellon, King held the position of Vice President Finance from 2015 to 2018, supporting the Asset Servicing business as a Finance business partner and analyst. John provided analytics for the strategic growth plan and managed balance sheet and P/L. Most recently, King held the role of Senior Finance Manager at Marshall of Cambridge (Holdings) Ltd from 2021 to 2022 before becoming the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at ZeroAvia in 2022.

John King attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2002 to 2006, where they received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Magnus C of E School from 1997 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, John obtained a PRINCE2 Foundation certification in 2018 and a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification in August 2018. John also holds a Level 3 in Investment and Administration certification from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, obtained in 2008.
