Evangelos Fragkoulis currently serves as Head of Ship Design & Technology at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, overseeing innovative vessel designs and the integration of green technologies for sustainable shipping solutions since February 2024. Previously, Evangelos held various senior roles within A.P. Moller - Maersk, including Head of Ship Design and Director of the Energy Efficiency Platform, as well as serving as Chief Technical Officer at Svitzer, where responsibilities included managing the Technical Organization department and overseeing the technical and maintenance management of over 400 tugs. Other noteworthy positions included Director and Deputy Asset Manager at Maersk Drilling and Marine Surveyor at Germanischer Lloyd. Educational achievements comprise an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School, participation in the Inspiring Maersk Program at IMD, and multiple graduate degrees in Maritime Administration and Marine Engineering from World Maritime University and Newcastle University.
