Francielle Carvalho is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and energy planning, currently serving as Regulatory Affairs Manager at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping since May 2024. Previously, Francielle worked at The International Council on Clean Transportation from July 2021 to April 2024 as a Researcher and Associate Researcher, and contributed to COPPE/UFRJ between March 2015 and October 2022 while pursuing a DSc in Energy Planning, focusing on the decarbonization of maritime transport and Brazilian liquid biofuels. With a strong academic background, including an MSc in Energy Planning and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, Francielle has participated in diverse research initiatives centered on energy transition, climate change mitigation, and advanced biofuels. Additional research experience includes a guest researcher position at Universiteit Utrecht and an internship at Eletronuclear.
