Prasad Nayak

Prasad Nayak is a prominent professional in the maritime industry with over 26 years of diverse experience in shipboard and shore-based roles. Currently serving as General Manager (Training) at Anglo-Eastern since November 2011, Prasad has made significant contributions to advancing alternative marine fuels. Previous roles at Anglo-Eastern include Technical Assurance Manager, General Manager (FPD), Deputy General Manager (FPD), and Fleet Personnel Manager, overseeing engineering departments for a fleet of over 100 vessels. In addition to responsibilities at Anglo-Eastern, Prasad holds positions as a training faculty member at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and as Chairperson for the SGMF work group focused on ammonia as marine fuel. Educational qualifications include a PG in Marine Engineering from M.E.R.I and a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from B.N College of Engineering.
