John Gavula

John Gavula is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and graphic design. Currently serving as the Director of Experience Design at ZeroDegrees Inc since January 2022, John focuses on creating innovative user experiences that merge visual design, production insights, and accessibility with research. As Principal at Gavula Design since March 2004, John emphasizes crafting strategic, elegant experiences tailored to clients’ business needs. Previously, John worked as a Contract Product Designer and Hybrid Front-End Developer at Liberty Mutual Insurance from April 2014 to December 2021, contributing to various digital projects, including mobile applications. Early career experiences include roles at Lipson Alport Glass and Associates, Solution: Design and Marketing LLC, and HealthGate Data Corp. John holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University, with a concentration in Illustration and minors in Communications Design and English.
