Julia Fries

Julia Fries has diverse work experience starting in 2018 as a Research Assistant at the BARUCH S. BLUMBERG INSTITUTE. In 2019, they joined the U.S. Department of Energy and completed a 12-month training program, becoming qualified as an Engineering Officer of the Watch. During this program, Julia studied and gained practical experience in various subjects related to mathematics, physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, reactor theory, and reactor design. In 2019, they also began their role as a Naval Officer in the US Navy, where they served until 2022. As a Naval Officer, Julia held the position of Administrative Officer and was involved in various naval operations. Additionally, in June 2022, they started working as a Sales Project Manager at ZeroEyes.

Julia Fries attended the United States Naval Academy from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. In 2019, they completed Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC). In the same year, they also obtained a TS/SCI Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
