Yoav Navon

Yoav Navon is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, currently working at Zeromatter since June 2025, focusing on simulation technologies. Prior to this role, Yoav contributed to Helm.ai from September 2023 to June 2025, specializing in perception technologies for autonomous vehicles, including real-time instance segmentation using Transformers and CNNs. Yoav's experience at Meta from July 2022 to September 2023 involved developing perception models for augmented reality glasses and ensuring safety and integrity for generative AI and large language models through fine-tuning. The role at NotCo from March 2020 to July 2022 included working on generative AI with Variational Autoencoders (VAEs) and Transformers, as well as applying Bayesian optimization for experimentation.
