Kristian Knak

Kristian Knak is the VP of Design at ZeroNorth. Kristian has over 18 years of experience in various leadership roles in the design industry.

Kristian started their career as a Head of Games at Agency.com. Kristian then became a Project Manager at DR - Danmarks Radio. After two years, they were promoted to UX Department Manager at NDS (now Cisco). Kristian was with Cisco for nine years before joining Issuu as a Product Owner.

At Issuu, Kristian helped install the SCRUM development framework company wide and released Issuu’s Mobile Reader and AdPages (advertising platform).

In 2012, Kristian left Issuu to join Egmont as a Senior Digital Forretningsudvikler & Product Owner. At Egmont, Kristian was the product lead on major development project at Alinea (the educational publishing arm of Egmont). Heading the effort of 10+ professionals across UX, design, and software development, Kristian’s role involved product-, project-, and stakeholder management.

Kristian left Egmont in 2018 to join Maersk Tankers as their Head Of User Experience. Kristian was with Maersk Tankers for two years before joining ZeroNorth as their VP of Design.

Kristian Knak has a degree in Leadership from Point of View and a Master's in Information and Media Studies from Aarhus University.
