Kabir Dhanji

Kabir Dhanji is a Kenyan-born photojournalist and creative professional based in Nairobi, Kenya, with extensive experience across Africa and Australia. Currently serving as the Creative & Art Director at Kivuli Creative and a Photojournalist at AFP, Kabir also holds roles as Strategic Counsel and Editor In Chief at AIME, and Principal Security Consultant for ZeroRisk International. Kabir's past roles include film director for The Peregrine Fund and Aga Khan Foundation East Africa, as well as photojournalist positions with the European Pressphoto Agency and Nation Wide News. Kabir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney, with majors in Art History and Theory, as well as Film Studies. Additional education includes coursework in Political Science and High Security Risk Training for Journalists.
