Jason Te Brake has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jason currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer - Grower and Supply Chain at Zespri International since April 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Global Supply Officer and Head of NZ Supply at Zespri International. Prior to their roles at Zespri, Jason worked as a Commercial Manager at Miraka Limited from 2017 to 2020 and as a Key Account Manager from 2016 to 2018. Jason also served as the Chairman of the Board at NZ Young Farmers from 2015 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Sales and Marketing Executive at ANZCO Foods and as a Co-Opted Farmer Council member at Beef and Lamb NZ. Jason started their career as an Assistant Manager at KPMG New Zealand.
Jason Te Brake attended Stanford University in 2017, where they completed the Te Hono Primary Industry Bootcamp. In 2014, they participated in the Kellogg Rural Leaders programme. In 2011, Jason obtained their Chartered Accountant degree from NZICA. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a BBSD degree in Management and Accounting at Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology. Additionally, Jason also obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from NZICA.
