Valeria Racemoli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Valeria currently holds the position of Community Engagement Lead at Zespri International. Prior to that, Valeria worked at CRIF as the Open Innovation Engagement & Research Manager at InnovEcoS, where they managed engagement and research programs. Valeria also had a role in Regulatory Affairs & Innovation Intelligence at CRIF. Earlier in their career, Valeria served as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Felsinea Pubblicità S.r.l.
Valeria has also worked in the non-profit sector, including roles at Jesuit Refugee Service as a Legal and Advocacy Officer, where they provided legal representation to asylum seekers and developed advocacy projects. Valeria also worked at Asylum Access as the Interim Legal Services Manager and as a Volunteer Legal Advocate. Additionally, Valeria gained experience as an intern at Geneva Call and the Permanent Representation of Italy to the Council of Europe.
Valeria Racemoli completed an L.LM degree in International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, and Refugee Law from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights in 2009. Prior to that, they earned an M.A. in International Relations from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2007 and a B.A. in International Relations from the Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 2004. In 2019, they obtained a professional qualification as a Sommelier from AIS Associazione Italiana Sommelier.
