Yen Wong

Yen Wong has a diverse and extensive work experience. They started their career as a Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in 1995 and later worked as a Senior Auditor at BDO New Zealand in 1998. Yen then joined Fonterra in 1998 and held various roles, including Global Internal Auditor, Regional Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Regional Finance Lead, Business Lead Japan, and Commercial Manager, SEA HUB. In 2012, Yen worked as a Finance Consultant/Director at YSM Corp, where they implemented a new accounting system and improved reporting processes. From 2013 to 2015, Yen served as the Regional Financial Controller - Food Retail at Auric Pacific Group, focusing on change management and turnaround activities. They also worked for Fonterra in 2013 as a Financial Controller - Brands on a contracting basis. Yen's most recent position was at Zespri International, where they held the roles of Regional Finance Manager and Head of Finance - Greater China. Overall, Yen has gained extensive experience in finance, management, and strategic thinking, demonstrating success in various industries and regions throughout their career.

Yen Wong has a diverse education history. In 1990, they completed Bursary Form 7 at Auckland Grammar School, focusing on Economics, Maths, and Chemistry. In 1991 to 1993, Yen pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting at The University of Auckland. Following that, they obtained a Diploma of Commerce in Economics from the same university in 1994. Later in 2011 to 2012, Yen attended the London Business School to pursue an MSc degree in Leadership and Strategy.
