Vince McGuinness

Vince McGuinness has worked in a variety of roles in the software industry since 1999. Vince began their career as a Database Analyst at Synectics Solutions Ltd. In 2002, they moved to Datacare Software Group as a Support Developer. In 2005, they became a QA Tester at SurfControl, followed by a role as a Software Tester at ServicePower in 2007. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at SAP as a Senior Quality Specialist/Scrum Master, working on various web based and windows applications. During this time, they also had the opportunity to undertake Mini Fellowships in Paris and Palo Alto. In 2017, they moved to QualiTest Group as a Senior Test Consultant, and then to Mojo Mortgages as a Test Lead in the same year. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Interlink Software as a Senior Software Tester, and in 2022 they began working as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Zest.

Vince McGuinness has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Honours) degree in History and American Studies from Crewe and Alsager College of Higher Education, which they obtained between 1989 and 1992. Vince also holds an MSc in Computer Science from Staffordshire University, which they obtained between 1997 and 1999. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in April 2014, a SAP Certified Quality Engineer from SAP in September 2011, and an ISQTB Certified Tester Foundation Level from ISQTB in June 2011.
