Abdul-Rahman Raji

Abdul-Rahman Raji is the current Chief Technical Officer at Zeta Energy. Abdul-Rahman has a long and accomplished history in energy storage research, beginning as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University, where they worked on developing carbon/inorganic nanomaterials for use in transparent electrodes, conductive films, and composite materials. Raji then went on to work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, where they researched graphene-based energy storage materials and devices. After their time at the University of Cambridge, Raji returned to Rice University as a Research Associate, where they focused on lithium-metal and lithium-sulfur batteries. Raji has also interned at the University of Pennsylvania, where they synthesized and characterized zinc oxide quantum dots for self assembly, photocatalysis, fuel cells, and solar energy applications.

Abdul-Rahman Raji received their postdoctorate in engineering and chemistry from the University of Cambridge. Abdul-Rahman then went on to receive their PhD in chemistry from Rice University. After that, they completed their MS in chemistry from Rice University. Finally, they completed their B.S. in chemistry from Morgan State University.

Their manager is Charles Maslin, Founder & CEO. Abdul-Rahman Raji works with Michael Liedtke - Head of Business Development, Rodrigo Salvatierra - Chief Science Officer, and Pavan Raja - Senior Process Manager.
