Jose Amich

Co-Founder and CEO at Zeta Surgical

Jose Amich has been involved in the medical field since 2014. Jose began their career as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School in the Brugge Lab, where they studied tumor heterogeneity and drug resistance under the direction of Prof. Joan Brugge. During their time at Harvard, they were awarded the PRISE Fellowship, Herchel Smith-Harvard Undergraduate Research Fellowship and Harvard College Research Program. In 2018, they co-founded and became the CEO of Zeta Surgical.

Jose Amich has an extensive educational background. Jose obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Harvard University. Jose then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration - MBA, with a Finance Track, from MIT Sloan School of Management. Most recently, they completed the Zeta Surgical program at Y Combinator in 2019.
