Balaji K Iyengar

Balaji K Iyengar is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in leading technological innovations and backend development across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Zeta since June 2021, Balaji is responsible for building the CLoU platform and leading the DevWorld initiative to enhance developer productivity. Previously, Balaji held positions at WhiteHat Jr, where the entire Math & Music platforms were built from scratch, and at PubMatic, focused on highly available backend services. Earlier roles include a Senior Backend Lead at Jio and a Backend Lead at MyGlamm, where Balaji developed scalable backend solutions using modern architectures. Balaji began the career at Quinnox, Inc. and also gained experience during an internship at Zycus. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Balaji has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in engineering practices and project management.
