Leilani Gonzalez

Leilani Gonzalez serves as the Chief of Staff and Policy Director at the Zero Emission Transportation Association since June 2021, where responsibilities include analyzing federal legislation on electric vehicles, drafting educational materials, and coordinating federal strategy among ZETA members. Prior experience includes a fellowship at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and positions in the United States Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as serving as District Senior Executive Secretary for the Florida House of Representatives. Leilani Gonzalez holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Environmental Policy and Planning from Florida Gulf Coast University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Relations from Florida State University and an Associate's Degree in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University.
