Neil Paterson

Neil Paterson has worked in the engineering field for over 20 years. In 2000, they began working at Reutech Communications Pty Ltd. (Formerly 'Reutch Defense Industries') as a Project Engineer - Air Weapons Integration, where they qualified ordinance and fusing systems on various fighter aircraft under MIL331(b) specifications. In 2005, they moved to AquaSpy as a Snr Electronics Engineer. In 2012, they became a self-employed electrical engineer, providing design and deployment consulting to medium to large sensor/control equipment vendors with environmental monitoring as a specialization. In 2014, they joined Observant as a Senior Solutions Engineer, specializing in RF Integration, Standards + Compliance certification (W/wide), and Fit for Purpose product trialing. In 2021, they became the Owner/Proprietor at Customised Solutions. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as an RF Engineer at Zetifi.

Neil Paterson received a Graduate Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Durban University of Technology. Neil also attended Estcourt High School.
