Thomas Aagaard

Thomas Aagaard is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in various media roles. Currently serving as the Redaktionschef, Redaktør, and Journalist at Zetland since February 2021, Thomas previously worked as a Foreign Correspondent for Berlingske from December 2018 to February 2021. Additionally, Thomas co-founded a freelance bureau in Beirut, Lebanon, collaborating with Mikkel Danielsen to produce content for both Danish and international media outlets including BBC, The Guardian, and Radio24syv. Earlier career positions include Journalist and Journalistpraktikant at Jyllands-Posten and Kommunikationspraktikant at The Danish House in Palestine. Thomas holds a degree in Arab Studies and Modern Middle Eastern History from the University of Copenhagen, complemented by a background in Religious Studies and an education from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole.
