Emma Walsh

Emma Walsh has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as a Sales Associate at HomeSense. Emma then worked as a Waitress at The Esprit Group from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they had a work placement at AstraZeneca. After that, Emma served as an Office Administrator at Harding Roofing Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Emma then joined Genomics England in 2016 and held two roles: Project Administrator from 2016 to 2017 and New Initiative Project Manager from 2017 to 2021. Emma's most recent position is as a Yellow Card Biobank Project Manager (Scientific focus) at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, which began in 2021. Emma is currently working as a Project Manager at Zetta Genomics Ltd from April 2022.

Emma Walsh completed their education at three institutions. Emma obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Leicester between 2012 and 2015. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Genomic Medicine at Imperial College London. Prior to this, they attended St James Catholic High School from 2005 to 2012, but no specific degree or field of study was provided during their time there.
