Verónica García has extensive experience in the field of software engineering and research. Verónica currently holds the position of Lead Web Developer at Zetta Genomics Ltd since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at The Institute of Cancer Research as a Software Engineer from 2014 to 2022, where they focused on developing software to address the complexities and challenges of cancer treatment. Verónica also served as a Research Software Engineer and Teacher at the University of Valladolid from 2004 to 2013, gaining valuable research and teaching experience. Verónica García began their education in 1995 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática at the University of Valladolid. Verónica pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science for six years, completing their studies in 2001. Following their undergraduate degree, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science in 2004.
