Previously, Amrit held roles in crisis and corporate communication at ByteDance, managed government relations and public relations for Nissan Motor Corporation in India, and was National Editor and Corporate Bureau Chief at LiveMint, overseeing significant national corporate news coverage. Amrit’s journalism career began at Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd, with a strong educational background featuring a Post Graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University.
