Carl Smith

Carl Smith, CFA, currently serves as the Equity Research Associate Director at Zeus, overseeing sector coverage in technology, automotive, and business services since January 2021. Prior to this role, Carl worked as an Equity Research Associate, focusing on sell-side research notes, performing sector and macro research, conducting equity valuation analysis, and maintaining financial forecast models. From August 2017 to December 2020, Carl was with RSM UK, where promotions included a role as Corporate Finance Associate in the Financial Due Diligence team and prior experience as a Corporate Finance Executive, advising on disposals and serving as Monitoring Trustee for the European Commission and CMA. Early career experience includes a Finance Internship at The Co-operative Bank plc, assisting in the preparation of interim accounts. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bristol and completed ACA qualifications from ICAEW.
