Robin Byde

Robin Byde has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to finance and research. They currently serve as a Director and Analyst at Zeus Capital, where they provide research, fundraising, and advisory services for small and mid-cap companies in sectors such as industrials, industrial technology, energy transition, and transportation. Prior to Zeus Capital, Robin worked as a Managing Director and Equity Partner at Cantor Fitzgerald, where they headed the UK and European industrials equity research department and provided investment research and advice to institutional investors. Before that, they held the position of Research Manager and Analyst at HSBC, managing global transport and infrastructure equity research and supporting equity and debt fundraisings in the sector. Robin also worked as a Senior Analyst and Team Leader at Old Mutual Group, covering the UK support services, industrials, and transport sectors. They started their career as a Management Consultant at KPMG UK and later worked as an Audit Manager and Consultant at the Audit Commission, focusing on government-supported manufacturing, transport, and infrastructure assignments. Robin also has experience as an Auditor and Management Accountant at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Robin Byde holds a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, obtained between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) degree from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, from 1990 to 1993. They also have a Business Studies degree, with First Class honors, in BA (Honours) from South Bank Polytechnic, completed between 1987 and 1990. Apart from these degrees, Robin Byde has additional certifications as a Chartered Accountant from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs and as a Registered Securities Analyst from the Financial Conduct Authority.
