Damian Young

Damian Young has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1989 with various retail and branch roles at Bank of Ireland. In 2001, they were promoted to Head of International Services at Bank of Ireland. From 2006 to 2014, they held several positions at Bank of Ireland, including Head of Innovation, Head of Deposits & Personal Current Account, Head of Customer Management, and Head of Small Business. In 2014, they joined GRID Finance as Director & Member of the Board, and also began their role as Managing Director of Nomis Solutions, responsible for growth and management of Nomis Solutions in the APAC Region and EMEA. In 2018, they became Managing Director of G4S, and in 2020, they took on the role of Centre for Design at the Centre for Design National Design Innovation Hub. Most recently, in 2019, they became Chief Executive Officer of Zeus Scooters.

Damian Young completed an Msc Business Administration at Trinity College Dublin in 2009-2010 in the field of Business. From 1990-2008, they attended The Marketing Institute of Ireland, where they obtained a Graduate of MII in Marketing. During the same time period, they also attended University College Dublin, where they earned a Financial Services Diploma and various Professional Certificates/Diplomas in Banking.
