Dirk Bormann is currently the Head of Product Line R&D at ZF Group, where they also serve as the R&D footprint leader for the CV division and lead various R&D projects related to vacuum pump solutions and air management. Previously, Dirk held multiple leadership roles at WABCO, including Group Leader of Electrical Auxiliaries and Chief Engineer for Car Systems. Dirk began their career as an apprentice at Bosch and later gained research experience as a research assistant and PhD student at RWTH Aachen. Dirk holds a Dr.-Ing. and Dipl.-Ing. from RWTH Aachen University.
