Olga Steiger

Olga Steiger is an experienced sustainability leader currently serving as Leiterin Nachhaltigkeit and Verantwortliche Umweltmanagement at ZFV-Unternehmungen since October 2019. Prior to this role, Olga held the position of Fachverantwortliche Abfallvermeidung und Littering at Kanton Basel-Stadt's Amt für Umwelt und Energie from February 2016 to September 2019 and worked as a Guide at Energie Zukunft Schweiz from August 2015 to September 2019. Earlier, from April 2010 to July 2015, Olga was a Wissenschafliche Mitarbeiterin und Projektleiterin at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, specializing in sustainable environmental and resource management, applied research, and education. Olga began their career as a Praktikantin at Ernst Basler + Partner in June 2009. Educational qualifications include a CAS in Klimastrategien from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences (2021), a Master of Arts and Science in Sustainable Development from the University of Basel (2008-2010), and a Bachelor in East European Cultures and Economics from the University of Basel (2003-2008).
