Pedro Granate

Pedro Granate has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Pedro started their career as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Link Consulting, where they designed dashboards and implemented interactive reports for top management decision making. Pedro then moved on to Janz - Contagem e Gestão de Fluídos S.A., where they worked as a Production Engineer. Pedro successfully implemented LEAN Manufacturing Concepts and reduced testing time by 15%, while also handling equipment validation and problem solving. Pedro then joined Bosch as an R&D Engineer, where they led projects related to electrical storage water heaters and heat pumps. Pedro was responsible for product specification and maintenance, as well as developing SMART control algorithms and driving performance improvement in heat pumps. At Bosch, Pedro also worked as a Project Manager, leading a team of experts and sub-project managers, ensuring on-time delivery of milestones and resource optimization. Finally, Pedro joined Hovione as a Project Manager, where they managed the execution of projects related to API manufacturing and intermediate drug products. Pedro was actively involved in cross-functional team management, customer satisfaction, stakeholder management, and problem solving. Pedro also played an active role in continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO. Currently, Pedro is the Co-Founder and COO at Zharta, a role they took on in 2022.

Pedro Granate pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 2008 to 2014, they attended Instituto Superior Técnico, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree. In 2011 and 2012, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the Technical University of Munich as part of the Erasmus program, focusing on Energy Management and Production. Additionally, in February 2008, Pedro Granate obtained a CAE certification in English from the British Council.
