Kristy Zou has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Kristy currently serves as the Marketing Director at Zhou Agency, where they have successfully transformed the client base and contributed to a revenue growth of 30% within one year. In this role, they are responsible for crafting and executing the overall marketing strategy, strengthening the company's presence across the customer funnel, and improving marketing efficiency through the use of modern marketing tactics and tools. Prior to this, Kristy founded U Journey LLC., offering cultural immersion programs for students from China.

Earlier in their career, Kristy worked at Simantel, a full-service digital agency, where they served as both a Marketing Research Strategist and an Account Manager. As a Marketing Research Strategist, they led the agency's research capability development and worked with various platforms and service providers to deliver high-quality research outputs. In their role as an Account Manager, they led the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns and trade events for Caterpillar across the EAME and North America regions. Kristy also implemented marketing automation to improve lead generation and conversion, while building strong client relationships.

Kristy's experience also includes roles at Unilever, where they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Associate Brand Manager, and Marketing Management Trainee. At Unilever, they conducted digital listening to identify growth opportunities, led the design and execution of brand digital strategies, owned P&L responsibilities for the China division, and implemented successful marketing campaigns resulting in revenue growth. Additionally, they assisted in product launches, executed package launches, and conducted in-store promotions and events.

Early in their career, Kristy worked as an International Intern at MONAREX Audit Consultancy, where they introduced a global fortune 500 company to the client list, supported website design and implementation, and provided English training and mentorship to employees.

Through their work experiences, Kristy has demonstrated their expertise in marketing strategy development and execution, research capabilities, client relationship management, and brand marketing. Kristy has consistently achieved revenue growth and enhanced marketing activities using modern marketing tactics and tools.

Kristy Zou completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Digital Marketing and Strategic Innovation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University from 2004 to 2008, with a dual major in English and International Trade & Economics.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kristy Zou also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they completed the Digital Media & Marketing certification from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In July 2019, they acquired the Digital Analytics for Marketing Professionals certification from the same institution. In May 2019, they obtained the Strategic Innovation: Managing Innovation Initiatives certification, also from the Gies College of Business. Lastly, in December 2019, Kristy Zou obtained the Google Ads Search Certification from Google Ads.
