Emily Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to the present. Emily started their career as a Customer Service Supervisor at EPIC - Event Planning International Corporation, where they managed the customer service department. In 2003, they joined BCD Meetings & Incentives LLC as a Program Coordinator, providing registration management and project coordination for a Strategic Meetings Management client. Emily also worked as an Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations, and an Operations Project Manager, providing support on a national and global basis. In 2011, Emily joined BCD Meetings & Events as an Account Manager, responsible for daily operations and client interaction. Emily then progressed to roles such as Director of Operations, Account Director, and most recently, Senior Director, Operations and Account Management. Emily's experience includes managing teams, implementing best practices, and driving employee growth and development.
Emily Nichols received a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism from Florida Atlantic University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Design with a minor in Advertising from James Madison University between 1996 and 2000. Emily completed their high school education at Martinsville High School from 1992 to 1996, where they were an Honor Graduate and took Honors and AP Level Courses.
